Our Mission

My goal is to give each specimen a beautiful afterlife. I want them to be preserved, adored and appreciated after they have lived their natural lives. that is why each specimen is either grown as a well loved pet, found after they have lived their natural life or brought to me through other suppliers who believe in the same well being of these creatures. this does include one insect farm who also focuses to help maintain the population of insects globally.

Our Approach

One thing that we pride ourselves on is that every piece is unique. don’t get me wrong, each item also has one or another sort of inspirational aspect to it whether it was inspired by a song, a painting, a feeling, a book or even the events of life. however each specimen is surrounded and decorated in a way that will only be found once. In order to keep costs a little lower so that these pieces are attainable to more people, i also sourced many of the additives and accents from friends and family. for example, Most of the real moss that is found in my terrariums come from my best friend’s back yard in Oregon. She is also one of the people that takes frequent walks in the woods to find specimens that have naturally lived their lives and passed on their own. i attain many of my skulls and bones from an Oregon individual who hunts for meat or to protect livestock on his property. i feel this gives them a second life and am happy to preserve their beauty..

Our Philosophy

there are many other artists who create incredible pieces of art, and i think that is probably my favorite thing about this industry. you will never find the same thing twice… in both people and art. my goal is to create an environment where welcoming is second nature. we are two souls that have crossed paths in life. this is a space where art and Essence can both be interpreted from person to person.

Our Stories

My name is sam! I have always had a passion for artistic things and how even a simple piece of paper with a drawing can tell a story of emotions like loss or love. after jumping through many of life’s hurdles, this year felt like the right time to begin pursuing my goal. it took many years of trial and error to reach a point where i found true and unending enjoyment in something i was doing. i have always enjoyed cosmetics so i attempted lashes. i have always enjoyed jewelry making so i attempted unique jewelry. i have always loved Crocheting so i attempted blankets, wall hangings and stuffed animals. none of these individually gave me the fulfillment that i was searching for. after coming across the world of oddities through my closest friend, i knew i had to give it a go. This was because of the sheer Resemblance of things i cherished in nature’s Magnificence and ended up finding something that i could incorporate all the little things i’ve cherished, including graphic design and painting, into extraordinary art. many people and artists inspired this journey, such as my best friend and tattoo artist, my mom who you will find at most of my vendor events as she’s my own personal cheerleader and my little family. though i am most grateful for the one that put in more than i could have imagined, my white mocha. <3
